I've been a self-taught painter for 15 years, focusing mainly on lyrical abstraction, surface support, polymer-based mediums, spray paint and pure pigment. Working with materials on different supports is a constant process. For me, art is above all a political process, a questioning of our ever-changing society. After working as a painter, I found the right expression of contemporary concerns through a 3D medium: sculpture. Confusion in my brain, the turn of the century, a surge of disorder, fields of ruins before a new era. The war in Ukraine, the Azovtal factory and the desire to work with steel. The Mediterranean as a field of ruins, an open-air cemetery with all the migrants drowning in lost crossings. Each empty space or lack of material is an amputation, a lost body that defines chaos and forms a rhizome, a new sea. Luc
