About The Artwork
God Eros (Cupid) and a Nymph. Cupid is small and is represented as a child hiding behind a column low. His bow and quiver with arrows, is resting on the tops of the column. The nymph, half-naked, is standing and looking in the direction of Cupid. Probably the nymph represented in the sculpture is a maenad, I say this because of the staff that she has on her right arm (the thyrsus), covered with ivy. The sculpture is located on a square pedestal (it has some chipping) Conclusion of German Art House. I also can sell this sculpture.
