About The Artwork

The massive earthquake that happened in Turkey and Syria inspired me to create this tomb sculpture. Middle of the sculpture I placed a big dom/breast of mother nature which represents the re-growth in feeding by its surrounding with colors sources spreading out.

Deniz Eyuboglu was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, and graduated from the prestigious Marmara University in the graphic design and fine art program. She has lived in Istanbul and New York City, and currently works in advertising as an art supervisor. Eyuboglu has showed in group exhibitions around the world, including A Message from Underground at Mana Contemporary, Jersey City, NJ; and the Crypto and Digital Art Fair in Paris, France. Living in Jersey City, NJ, Eyuboglu maintains a studio space at Mana Contemporary where she is a multidisciplinary artist. She believes in nurturing an idea with color, stroke, shape, music, and notes so that it can explode on a medium. Eyuboglu has trained herself to see the simplest details in every challenge and strives to bring that life to her art.
