On June 20th 1782 the American Bald eagle became our national bird and has become a world-wide symbol of strength and patriotic freedom! This majestic bird was nearly extinct in the late 1960s and just like our proud patriotic country, the eagle showed its heart and bravery fighting back from near extinction to become once again “King of the Skies”! In your entire life you will likely never encounter American Folk Art that is more talked about, awe-inspiring, or symbolizes American Freedom and Heritage as much as this very rare and realistic life size American Bald Eagle recreation using a one-of-a-kind process using mostly natural locally sourced materials such as milkweed silk, grape vines, pampas grass, thistle, willow and dogwood… Since 1990, the artists Scott and Sharon Ferlingere have dedicated their lives to this patriotic one-of-a-kind art form. Ferlingere Eagles can be found in museums, veterans memorials, wildlife sanctuaries, courtrooms, numerous private art collections worldwide. Their studio is located in a remote outpost in Northwestern Ohio’s Ashtabula County. Proudly introducing Sojourner number 260 in the collection from the artists Scott and Sharon Ferlingere. This eagle stands 37 inches from marble base to top of head. See a sample appraisal of a similar Eagle done 9/18/2005 stating "It is the appraiser's considered opinion that the estimated value of the subject property is approximately $5,000 (Five Thousand Dollars) - $6,000 (Six Thousand Dollars).". Sojourner value was estimated considering that there will be very limited quantities of these amazing and unique Eagles created by the artists due to their age as well as the continued evolution of the art forms quality. https://drive.google.com/file/d/18anZhYdGV9_wErB9umMGxlNo-Z6ehDf_/view?usp=sharing Sojourner will come with a signed and notarized bill of sale, showing the value for and appraisal guidelines for replacement value. This can be used for insurance purposes as well.
