This majestic bird was nearly extinct in the late 1960s and just like our proud patriotic country, the eagle showed its heart and bravery fighting back from near extinction to become once again “King of the Skies”! In your entire life you will likely never encounter American Folk Art that is more talked about, awe-inspiring, or symbolizes American Freedom and Heritage as much as this very rare and realistic life size American Bald Eagle recreation using a one-of-a-kind process using mostly natural locally sourced materials such as milkweed silk, grape vines, pampas grass, thistle, willow and dogwood… Since 1990, the artists Scott and Sharon Ferlingere have dedicated their lives to this patriotic one-of-a-kind art form.
