The stand has been kept in original form, the main front piece was carved, sanded, and waxed and varnished to bring out all the beauty that this piece hold. I located these pieces in two different areas of a large lake in Canada. I hand pick all the all the organic material I use in my pieces. Cerrie Slobodzian is a Canadian artist who first discovered her passion for making angelic pieces while taking a solo kayak ride. She discovered a drift wood pile and began to throw them and as they fell they became a wing. She gathered them all up and went home to build her first Fear Knot Angel wing. With Driftwood, drift bark and precious stones she transforms them into a one in a kind pieces. Her passion for creation continues with her love for color and she does so by painting colorful paintings with different abstract pieces which she infuses with her love of nature.
