Old window shutters This is original, one of a kind, unique hand made 3D art work made by using very specific technique. I am fascinated with old window shutters which I find in old villages and old towns on Adriatic coast. They remind me on lifes of many generations behind them. I use special technique combining many different materials, wood, stone, textile, foam , building materials and glue. For each art work I need 3-4 weeks to be finished. Every single step needs 2-3 days to become dry and then it is prepared for the new step. I am sure that you will enjoy in this artwork much more when you will see it in person than from the photo. It is totaly different experience. The total dimension of this piece is height 120 cm, width 85 cm, 7 cm depth Each art work is branded, hand signed and dated at the back side. Ready for hang, framed with wooden frame and glass so it is protected from dust and touching. This art piece will be shipped in a wood crate to protect it and it will also be fully insured from damage. It also includes the mounting kit for secure wall hanging.

Croatia
I was born on March 30th, 1960, Novi Vinodolski-Crikvenica, Croatia. Since 1988 I live and work in Zagreb. I have been working for 15 years in elementary school as a professor of visual arts. As an art teacher I have enjoyed motivating pupils, encouraging their artistic creativity and love for art. After that period I started with my artworks. Because I am coming from the Adriatic coast I found inspiration in the beauty and charm of the old stone seaside houses. I am particularly fascinated by the windows - blinds and shutters, a foreboding of life and spirit of the times that they conceal. Each window in authentic and humorous way tells its story and invites the viewer to imagine a life that goes behind the old shutters. I am using combined technique and complex materials. Creating each and every one of relief (3D) paintings is a very complex and a long-term process. In the process of making my paintings, I constantly improve and investigate techniques innovating certain practices and processes.
