I would like to thank quarries Michelangelo because this block was a gift; Carrara Statuario is the most expensive and is the favorite marble for sculpting, not so hard and with a particular final effect.
The realization lasted about tree month, with breaks of several days, in a capricious Tuscany spring. There is a video on ---YouTube --- about it.
The peculiarity of this marble are the light grey veins and the presence of some silver-colored dots. The whole surface is uniformly smooth and polished.

Self-taught artist, works the stone with the will of discovery that allows him to explore the forms. Sculpture reveals the sinuosity, deep and felt connection with the figure, the inner movements that emerge through the softness of the matter with confidence and expert naturalness. Born in Puglia, south Italy, living there, studying, working and loving until the age of thirty. Then new millennium, all the things that happened...so, starting looking something different than the usual leaving west for the east; earth is round and for seven years remaining physically and emotionally oriented to those meridians (India, China, Tibet...). In September 2007 I definitively went back in Europe and started sculpting, creating artworks very easy to present on the market like lamps, sculptures, jewel-cases, made of ``pietra leccese``, a kind of sandy stone, easy to have and work with it; I also practiced painting for therapeutic purposes. After having deepened the experience with the ''pietra leccese, in 2016 I started sculpting harder stone like marble, granite and onyx, that requires different type of tools, longer times and open spaces for working.
