I love animals and this small piece is part of a series of tiny wood burned animals, some in trees, and some solo, that I created from wood burning and then cut out with the scroll saw so they are freestanding. This folk piece won 3rd place in the scroll saw category of the Butler, PA Farm Show- pure Americana.

Hello! My name is Juliene. I am located in Western, PA and have always had an interest in art of all forms. I took up pyrography in early 2018 after receiving a pyrography tool as a Christmas present the year prior. I enjoy mixing mediums to include colored pencil, paint, wood burning, and scroll saw wood working. I pull inspiration from nature and travel. I've won awards for my pyrography at the Butler, PA Farm Show and awards for my photography at the Saxonburg, PA Festival of the Arts.
