About The Artwork

Ponzie the Pony is a one of a-kind diamond freshly cut out of the rough. She is a made-over hobby horse strattling the onmiverse. Ponzie was altered via plaster/ industrial glue, paint and schellac. She is on a perma trip (but a very good one!). Being light weight (hollow plastic cast), she can easily hang from photo wire or fishing line. Her origin story began when my dear friend Steven gave me a beat up discarded old childs toy . I power sanded the finish off/ built up layers (like extra eyes and buldges etc) and modified my pony with plaster & industrial glue. I decorated Pozie with an aqua basecoat after priming her and with trippy details using acrylic paints. Lastly, I sealed her with u/v resisetent crystal clear spray. She is a star forever in my heart and was a delight to make.
