About The Artwork

Inspired by the core body strength of the ballerina. Neil has chosen to give emphasis and focus to this aspect. This timeless sculpture embraces the physicality of the subject and represents the beating heart of the ballerina. She is strong and beautiful. Neil's extraordinary talent to capture the complexities of the human form truly sets his work apart. The patination alludes to the nature of the original clay with flourishes of burnt sienna.Neil personally oversees every part of the bronze process including the unique patina to ensure the highest quality finish. Contemporary yet equally at home in any interior decor .“Prima ballerina” is a fine art foundry cast bronze limited edition of 20, set on a black granite base. Please note - Each patina is unique and colour may vary slightly throughout the edition.
