About The Artwork
Glass has always captured my attention. I love the wonderful translucence and art feel of glass yet it has a chemistry and science behind it that leaves me wanting to break all the rules. In the case of this little purple cami and short set I wanted to capture the fragility of undies in glass. If you'll notice, the imprint of lace is on the glass. This imprint is on the inside as well. I also wanted to cast glass as thin as possible. They say it can't done but I developed a mold that allows me to cast thin without mold marks on the pattern. I used the original straps from a silk indie set.
