ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Poised on tiptoe, elongated and arching backward, this figure is as pliant as the wind. She was created using a cold cast method where bronze powder is incorporated into another media.The patina is created using liver of sulfur.Limited edition of 150 with an artist’s mark, date, and number.Each piece may appear slightly different with variations. If the current edition piece has been sold it will take about 8 to 12 weeks to produce the new work. Please bear this in mind when you order.

"Deject" Selected as Best in show at the 2021 Piccolo Spoleto Art Exhibition! Hi All, Growing up in southern Wisconsin, I was exposed and influenced early on by the work of Frank Lloyd Wright and Georgia O’Keefe. I began my career in design with a Bachelor's of Science in Construction Administration from the University of Wisconsin and a Master's in Building Science and Management from Clemson University. Following college, I completed a three year internship and obtained my architectural license. I'm very enthusiastic about creating figurative sculpture in various media although bronze is my favorite. Currently, I am a finalist for a large public sculpture featuring a three figure grouping in bronze. I create an original in wax or clay which is then realized in metal like bronze. This process is under my direction allowing me to refine the final piece. The state of mind and enchantment of sculpture is its ability to be a three-dimensional form that can be seen, felt and sensed, yet remain a creation of vivid energy.
