About The Artwork
This is an exquisite hand-cut paper sculpture inspired by beautiful window tracery found on Georgian buildings in Britain. By altering the scale and repeating the motif I have created this delicate turquoise-blue piece which is housed carefully inside a simple white box frame. This piece has attracted considerable attention and was shown on the London based television channel, LondonLive on their arts and culture show, LondonGo in May 2015, and was selected for the Pound Arts Open 2015 juried exhibition.

My work is inspired by the environment I am commissioned or choose to work from. Much of my work is made from paper I have collected from the area I am working in, and so traces of the people and everyday goings on of the pace may be revealed through this. I also use photography as a further development in my practice and take photographs of my delicate paper structures back out on the streets that inspired them.
