About The Artwork
My work is inspired by memories, stories, my subconscious, animals and identity. I hope the viewer will be reminded of something or a memory triggered that helps them create their own narrative or begin a dialogue with me. I enjoy mixing patterns and collage elements. I work with animals and figures as symbols. I have am drawn to myth and folklore. I try to get lost in a story while making the piece that usually becomes several stories. I also try to create areas of abstraction with in the work or places where the viewer can get lost.
