At an auction one day I bought a box that ended up containing a bunch of these vintage TV parts. I loved the colors and just the way they looked, so I decided I was going to do "something" with them. I wasn't sure what to do for awhile, so I started laying them out on the floor to see them better and suddenly realized that if i spread them out a little so there was a space between each one, they sort of looked like city blocks with streets. I also added some vintage vacuum tubes and ended up with something that someone from the 1940's or 50's might think a future city would look like.
