Life absolutely accidentally brought me down to clay at the university, when I began to study at the Faculty of Technology of Silicate Materials. But the education ended and at first it seemed that the clay had left my life too. I started working for a large company which was engaged in the sale of sanitary ceramics. The first two years were full of new emotions and just flew by. At some point I realized that I missed the feeling of clay in my hands, its fragrance and its energy. For a long time I tried to combine work and my hobby of clay modeling. Sometimes I found new hobbies. I learned to sew clothes, make soft toys, painted on fabric, learned to work with a lot of decorative techniques. But all the same in the end I returned to the ceramics. There is something beautiful in this when I can create from the severed piece of clay, so many unusual things from simple plates to more elaborate figures. Sometimes I add to my ceramic artwork elements of other materials, such as glass, fabric, metal, wood and others. I like combining different materials. Today, I’m doing what I like best. I am developing and looking for new facets. Besides, I teach children and adults to model in clay, helping them develop their creative potential or simply enjoy the process of working with clay. I also work as a consultant at the university that I graduated and supervise the practical work of students who are connected with ceramics. The whole surrounding world is my inspiration, it can be a bright emotion or a drop of mud on a boot. Each work contains its mood. I hope here you will see аn artwork that has absorbed the mood suitable for you.
