I believe that any object we get in contact with has its own spirit and character. So it for clay: every time I start to create it became a surprise for me. It really looks like I became a medium between a piece of clay and our world. I just follow the will of the clay and listen with my hands who it wants to became. Sounds crazy? Yeah, especially when it became a small devil like this:))) Quite the same happens for the color. For my initial idea the color should be opaque blu, but it steps out the oven like leopard spots, completely irregular like hell! Well, first it was quite disappointing but then I understood that it's the best solution for this creature: really just think about the hell full of fire, smoke and suffer. Is it possible to go out of the place like this completely perfect and good looking? So, let's introduce you my little devil "El Diablo"! Unique handmade ceramic art object from the series "Magic Garden" created by Italian artist Olga Buneeva. This piece was created like an alternative of the idealistic figure of angel. This sculpture was made from clay of Umbria region then decorated by blu glaze and fire-orange glaze. The main color is blu with some fire-orange elements.
