Sculpture Vase "Pirate Cup" Sculpture

Unique handmade ceramic art object from the series "Magic Garden" created by Italian artist Olga Buneeva. Artist who is living between Milan and small countryside home in the middle of Italy searching for inspiration through museums, antiques marketplaces and old Italian homes. The practice, elegance and simplicity of ancient objects she mixes with contemporary glazes to create alien and magic sculptures that someone how in this case can use in many different ways. I called this object "Pirate Cup" finding an inspiration in my mom's garden looking on watering can. Sometimes there're so many flowers in our house that we use the watering can as a vase. Then I started thinking which other way I can use a watering can? I just tried to find some synonyms, so we have: watering pot, kettle, teakettle, beaker, cruse, vessel, bottle, canteen, cup, flask, stein, stoup, tankard, bucket, pail, pot, carafe, decanter, ewer, flagon, jug, pitcher. Of course, it's up to you to decide how you can use it! This sculpture was created from clay of Umbria region then decorated by sand crocodile glaze with some blue details and maculate pink glaze inside.
