Every natural fact, be it a piece of wood, a flower, water, earth ... becomes such a provocative and stimulating term for various artistic reflections and discoveries of its deep and multi-layered contents. Thus, in the sculpture of Matija Radović, the author's emphasized attachment to motifs from nature is recognized. Namely, the author is the one who, with his own sensibility, extracts all those essential aesthetic and visual contents of the chosen motif and opus. Visually interesting, the works are important for the author in the sculptural expression and the specific relationship between form and form. The artistic morphology is perfectly adapted to the process of form in sculpture. The most significant stand that the artist wants to present becomes precisely the associative idea reshaped and materialized into a specific form created through a reminiscent, perceived experience of nature. I don’t paint by nature, Picasso said, but by nature. The thought of the philosopher Jung is: just as a plant creates a flower, so an artist creates symbols. That means outside the system.
