About The Artwork
The sculpture "In Search of the Golden Man" is not only an abstract but also a conceptual work. It is provoked by the modern times in which we live and this material orientation of a person. In the sculptural composition, I used my working technique - to work from the inside out, so the idea of the material is deeply embedded in the heart of the sculpture, and on the details that I applied you can notice the golden man with the golden car. The gold coating is double philosophical meaning - direct and figurative meaning. Practically observing the sculpture, you have to look for the hidden treasure. This work is made from a locust tree. It is made in my technique. This means: the parts are cut out from the inside, shaped and then reassembled. The parts were partly planed.

Born 1956 in Burgkirchen , Austria Lives and works in Sofia -Bulgaria . Hermann Gschaider is a sculpture with many international exhibitions and symposiums in stone and wood across the globe and across continents. Many of his sculptures are in private collections in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Argentina. The philosophy : It's just the only way of life for me. Something to work to give a material, the shape, the structure and the look that I have created in my head. It's a part of me (the created sculpture) and outputs information to the outside. As I come through with people brought up for discussion. It is a kind of dialogue. What should I write more. I suggest 40 years Sculptures I think that's a good answer to live and make art and not copy of global artists who are in museums.
