About The Artwork
The skull of a huge ancient bear became my first "canvas" for depicting real rock carvings from the cave of Shovet in France. This is not just a rare paleontological exhibit, it is a piece of history of Humanity with an imprint of the beginning of time in the form of carved images of animals of that period. This skull was found by my uncle deep underground in the permafrost, when he was looking for mammoth tusks (Yakutia). Therefore, the skull is well preserved to the present day.
