Shrapnel Sculpture

The work is made of local oak in the technique of turning and mounting, covered with Danish oil, which protects the wood well, emphasizes the texture and leaves the naturalness of the material. The base is made of sandstone. The sculpture depicts a human being in a very dynamic movement - a desperate step towards salvation. The name itself suggests that the danger comes from deadly, "blind" weapon that designed to take lives, maim, destroy. This is a man in extreme conditions; in an environment hostile to development and life, humanity. There is only a frozen escape. Part of the sculpture is deliberately "punched" by the author, like a projectile on the line of fire.
