About The Artwork
Outdoor/indoor sculpture representing Ayam Cemani - the rare all black chicken of Indonesia. This unusual bird has black plumage and a black beak, tongue and legs. Even the meat, bones and internal organs are black. Although not black the birds' blood is also dark in colour.
