About The Artwork

STOP In The Name Of LOVE... If you just stop and think Love is a Funny Thing, STOP forgetting about it, give yourself this gift. These hearts symbolise the human need for connection, feeling and pure expression of love. The shape of the heart expresses the need to trust and have a sense of security, honesty and open communication in order to break down isolation. It allows the viewer to connect, "let go" and be present. The heart sculptures were part of the exhibition #iFollow at the Bouziani Museum. This Handmade Art Sculpture will help to remind you not to waist time with Love. Soft, Huggable, Silicon Heart Sculpture. Imprinted signature of the artist. All Art Pieces Are Accompanied By Certificate of Authenticity. Imprinted signature of the artist.

I was born in Damascus, Syria, to a Lebanese father and a Polish mother. I grew up in Poland, later moved to Lebanon and later in Athens Greece. At the age of 17, I left Europe to study in New York at the Fashion Institute of Technology, in order to start my career as a fashion designer and a textile artist. In 1992, I moved to London to explore fine arts, and in 2004, I graduated from the Chelsea College of Arts. For the last 13 years, I have been based in Athens, Greece. I speak fluent English, Greek, French, Arabic, and Polish. I started my artistic career using oil on canvas, but over the last years my technique has evolved with the use of digital technology and the technique of printing on multiple layers of Perspex, which gives a singular perspective to the artwork, a new sense of depth and a 3D aesthetic. In my latest artwork I introduce cardboard and hand made silicon sculptures My artwork catches the eye of the viewer and speaks directly to the heart and to the mind. My inspiration comes from observing the society in which I live. And my ability to connect with people and to “read between the lines” inspires me to create art in order to give answers to today’s struggles. My need for continuous evolution keeps my art contemporary. Currently Bouziani Museum is hosting my exhibition, titled “#iFollow”, in Athens, Greece. The exhibition is in dialogue with Documenta 14 and with Greek artist, Yiannis Gaitis. November 2017 my artwork traveled to Shanghai for the International Art Fair and then December 2017 to Miami for the Red dot Miami show during the Miami Art Week. Currently I am selected as the spotlight artist of the international art fair artexpo Las Vegas with my first art pieces of my new collection Platonic Solids.
