Miss Ophelia Jones Sculpture

Lucia Mocnay creates anthropomorphic taxidermy artworks that are inspired by folklore, historical eras and mythologies from many different lands. As our varied cultural heritage dissipates in today’s society, her work seeks to bring about a mindfulness of the past, a reminder of our roots. In bringing to light these characters from forgotten tales, they live on, preserved in artwork for future generations. All animal remains used in her artwork are sourced ethically.
