About The Artwork
The inspiration for this work is God and the gift of the harvest. Viewers will come to know and love God. I have been interested in basketry for the past few years and have been learning techniques native to my home in tropical North Queensland, Australia. Inspired by the natural wonders of my home, the Daintree old growth rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. The natural beauty surrounding us is a reminder of Gods love.
