THESEUS AND THE MINOTAUR Sculpture

I was inspired by the ancient Greek myth of Theseus and the minotaur, just at the moment when the Greek hero Theseus kills the minotaur I want the viewer to feel that heroic moment in which Theseus manages to defeat and kill the minotaur who tormented his people. I chose that medium because it seemed to me that the finish it gave at the end looked quite like that of the Greco-Roman sculptures that I admire so much. I chose that subject because I am passionate about Greek mythology and ancient cultures I chose that style because it seemed to me the most dignified style to represent a Greek myth and for the viewer to appreciate the classic style of the sculpture
