About The Artwork

The artwork is a part of a diptych inspired by the everyday strugles. The title is a hint from Newton's third law of motion. Formally stated, Newton's third law is: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. I treat this law in a metaphorical way by combining two motions in one. The body in the art work portrays a moment of free fall and a flight in the same time. With the wings depicted on the ankles, I try to suggest that every fall is a boost for a higher life goal.
