About The Artwork
"Thoughts", "Pensieri" in Italian. A charming woman that takes a breath in front of a mountain view. The wind shakes her hairs, the autumn's leaves are on the jacket. She thinks, she makes projects, she build her future. It was a rainy and foggy day when I was carving this wood. In these type of days, when I feel tired or sad, I usually think to be in the forests of the Italian Alps, where I was born, walking between trees and fog, watching the mountain view and feeling the smell of the wind. It's a totally handmade sculpture, made in Florence, Italy.

I'm an italian handcraft artisan, I love sculpture and all my works are handmade. When I was a child, I thought that my family had found me under a tree, because of the song that my father dedicated to me. Perhaps my passion for wood was born here, in the forests where I take inspirations for my creations and where I pick the roots of the trees that I transform into sculptures. But the forest is for me also a place where I can feel happy and free from all thoughts.
