ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Wall Sculpture #1341 is made from 12 gauge mild steel. The steel that is used is called hot rolled. Because of the hot rolled process the steel has a hard surface finish call mill scale. The mill scale is removed by grinding or using Muriatic acid.After the mill scale has been removed the steel is sanded smooth and is then randomly designed and cut freehand and once again ground smooth. The steel is then textured and put together,heat colourized,cooled and rubbed down with a soft fiber pad to soften the color. This sculpture is signed and ready for hanging.
