Raffaele Iommi Lives in Porto San Giorgio. After studying art begins its exhibition activities in various Italian cities and in Brazil, the Netherlands, Poland, Switzerland, Spain, Hungary. Some of his works are in museums, private collections and in public. He received the prize for the Marche edition 1990. Recent its participation in the exhibition held: at the Royal Palace in Budapest, and his staff of the Library Feltrinelli Piazza Colonna, Rome. Iommi who lives and works in the Marche, after his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Macerata and Urbino, has gradually esternato its intentions, working hard to painting, sculpture, not dimendicando engraving and ceramics. While in the first creations revealed a strong preference for strict geometric forms, it is then directed towards a vivid semantic processing, next to the proposals that were in their postwar Marc Tobey and parts of the School of the Pacific, reaching achievements thus increasingly personal. Esternando a definite force, Iommi, drew up in the flux of time, balanced sequences ideograms, hexagrams, varied reasons, among them compound measure, which connects with archetypes of civilization flourished in the Mediterranean basin, nell'Oriente in Africa , and the Americas, aiming to bring a lost horizons. For a complete understanding of its figures, compiled with discovery tension, we need a careful contemplation, ponderata.Tutto is external, as in a story. Each card of his mosaic, created by a careful decanting, meaning a complaint; dictated in the imaginative and sensitive, attests memories and electric shock. Face to pursue an ideal based spirituality, he is part of a noble tradition, not ever leaving nothing to chance and improvisation, in an order between mental and lyrical together. Luigi Dania
