This stone had cracks in it and so the stone broke in the middle of the making process. For Eric this was a metaphor of what can happen in human life. The hand is a copy of Eric's hand. It was made with great precision and completely manually without electrical appliances. Eric used to be a nature photographer. With this first sculpture, Eric shows his talent. The artwork is made of "springstone" serpentine and is placed on a concrete clinker in line with the statue with one rough side connected with a stainless steel rod.
