Poland
Leszek Skóra was born on April 15th, 1988 in Lublin. Between 2000-2007, he studied at the Art School Complex of the Comprehensive Art School which specialises in exhibiting. Later he attended the High School for Comprehensive Art and specialised in woodcarving. In 2011, he graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Marie-Curie Skłodowska University of Lublin with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Between 2011-2013, he studied at the Faculty of Sculpture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, obtaining his Master of Arts degree in 2013. His main interest is traditional sculpture, chiefly in wood and resin castings. The subject matter of his work is also traditional and concentrates principally on the human form. His work also features abstract sculpture.
