'red crown painting I.' painting 2019 one of two sculptural artworks inspired by a red paper crown, found in an old diary, after being stored there for safe-keeping. The cement forms were made using a 1960's baking tray that belonged to my mother. Barbed-wire was retrieved during a six mile walk, including a river crossing, waist high in freezing water. The small piece of wood was discarded during a show set-up at the Royal Academy of Art, London, many years ago. The wall-paper collage was from an old entrance to my kitchen which is now boarded up. hung together, would make a pretty cool diptych
