About The Artwork

), carving developed from wooden blocks using a high revolution router machine with a half moon cutter attached to achieve these concavities, later it is polished by hand and coated with a polyurethane type surface sealer with several layers , polishing meticulously between each application, finally the color is superimposed with Polyester Lacquer in a golden base tone and a second translucent in a copper tone. These objects arise from concerns about bone morphologies and the transformations to which they are subject in time, in a similar way the drilling processes present around geological formations subject to the influence of natural agents for immeasurable periods of time are reflected, sculpting the "atoms" of extremely hard surfaces, gradually degrading them until they become walking or navigating dust depending on the place or time.

Since when could I account for a conscious creative process ... maybe it would be with my sketchbook of robot faces inspired by Maziger Z (Japanese anime from the 80's) when I was seven years old, which in spite of me got lost in I am in the midst of childhood comings and goings, but I remember obsessively undertaking and being fascinated by all the geometric possibilities offered to me by those squared sheets that did not get to see great achievements in mathematics, fortunately or unfortunately the diastole of my left hand I was there and the giant was also (papà) the first and only artist that I could say that I know from the foundations of the sanguine, a severe, rigorous and contradictory adult, a monster, who trained and stimulated me regarding what concerns us (the exercise, transit and procedure of practices for the liberation of the human spirit called art), this represented inhabiting and absorbing from an early age the experiences pro pias from an advertising and Screen workshop back then, full of appetizing and suggestive gallons of paint in an infinity of synesthetic colors for me, full of smell and taste were almost like food, the mountains of residual material (garbage) that produced "the signature" it was my concern to eliminate them by means of epic burns with thinner and varsol fragrance, already with red eyes from the "healthy" smoke I was ready to enter the boring photography laboratory full of cigarette fog produced by the giant and that was revealed with the red light turned on so as not to enrage the big-headed insect (negative enlarging machine), for the first time I associated darkness with silence, it was a "sacred" space due to the monster's irate temperament, we lived In a small city, we would walk back home, the giant walking fast, I was going for a marathon in search of my squared notebook.
