Maja Pajtak

Born in Osijek. Graduated from the I. Gymnasium high school in Osijek in 2003. In the same year, I entered the Faculty of Economics in Osijek and graduated in 2011. with a degree in marketing. I entered the Art Academy in Osijek in 2014., where I completed my undergraduate studies in fine arts in 2018. I completed the 1st year of graduate studies in the Multimedia module and the 2nd year of the graduate studies in the Painting module at the Department of Visual and Media Arts. During my studies, I was on the Erasmus program in Madrid at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in 2018. As part of a multimedia project, I was in Stuttgart at the private college Hochschule fur Kommunikation und Gestaltung in 2019. I graduated in 2021. from the Academy of Arts and Culture, module Painting. I have exhibited at some joint exhibitions so far. I am interested in the possibilities of using classic art techniques within the framework of contemporary art practice and erasing the boundaries of "painting" within the visual arts. I'm focused on classic and modern innovative painting, photography and video processing techniques.
