About The Artwork
27. This collection has a very deep meaning. I was sketching and training then I realized that I don’t want to throw away my sketches. I want to make a finished piece of art out of it. I was sketching in my mother-in-law’s notebook (purple paper) who passed away 10 years ago. She was a powerful, strong woman who never gave up. I drew 4 women and I noticed that they all are different ages. 4 beautiful, stylish and very confident women. My 2 grandmas, my mom, my sister and I. This collection is dedicated to all strong women like my mother-in-law, two grandmothers, my mom and my sister.

Feminism is one of those macro trends which is expressed in her unique collections. Sirana’s knowledge of the fashion industry comes from her experience in fashion trend analysis and fashion forecasting. Sirana is an Armenian, born in Moscow, Russia. She studied in London at University of the Arts, London College of Fashion. She graduated with a BA in Fashion Design and Marketing. Then returned to Moscow to work for Fashion Consulting Group as a Fashion Trend Scout and a Fashion Marketer. During that time she participated in multiple projects with Russian fashion brands, helped to develop Fashion Snoops in Russia and CIS countries, lectured a course in “Fashion Forecasting” at the Higher School of Economics.
