This piece was created for an exhibition which celebrated iconic album artwork. My work 'Licks' is inspired by the Forty Licks Album cover by The Rolling Stones. If you look very closely you may be able to recognise the printed Images of band members embedded within the painting.

Born in Hastings, I moved to West Sussex in 2005 to do a degree in Dance with Fine Art at The University of Chichester. During my degree I worked mainly with oil paints, but also gained a fascination with the moving image, endeavoring to create moving paintings using film. I went on to pursue a career in Dance until moving to Folkestone in 2013, where the new environment sparked my passion for art again. I have been captivated by the visible history Folkestone has to offer. In my work there is a constant friction between my fascination with my surroundings and my ability to get swept away in my imagination, thus creating a diverse catalogue of work.
