About The Artwork
As is done with trees, in this work it is possible to admire the layers of the human soul. There are thinner and more delicate layers, delicate such as our soul is, when we live in situations of harmony; but also more massive layers, which give the idea of the force that the human being gives off most in times of need. The latter are the most useful to our soul because they cause it to develop a hard bark that will protect us from the vicissitudes of life. Looking at this work, we should all reflect on our past by re-evaluating the periods in which we felt defeated. Because those moments made us the wonderful people we are today. I've always used upcycled materials and for this job I used a plastic tube, mixed recycled fabrics and a cotton cord.
