Tampa Blue Print

This piece, as do all my pieces, is dictated by my moods which are many. I draw from everything I find interesting or beautiful and my mood at the moment guides my choices. I used acrylic paint, gesso, modeling paste, gold leaf, and glass pieces because I do not want to be restricted to 2 dimensional medium. The piece is finished with 2 coats of a high gloss varnish and the sides are painted the same color as the background so you may hang without a frame. The piece is signed and dated on the back. Tampa Blue reflects a relaxed, beachy feeling that one frequently experiences in Florida. The painting is canvas gallery wrapped on a wood frame and back stapled; it will be shipped this way.
