The Art of Letting Go Print

This work was done with a process of letting go and writing words that came to mind. My art consists of being free to create without fear or judgement of myself or the outcome. I work with several different mediums to express myself artistically without locking myself into on style or subject. I believe that art can be therapuedic and I can let go of anxiety and be at ease with how things turn out. I trust the process and be free from worry, perfectionism and control. I let go of these negative thoughts that pull artists down and created this piece which is a journey of self acceptance and love. The beads and portions of Chinese brush paintings are added to create a sense of depth by mixing different art forms into one. The ranges of my work include: life drawing or figure drawing, Chinese brush painting, intuitive painting, Fine art photography, portrait and wedding photography. This includes the use of a variety of mediums such as pastel, oil sticks, acrylic paint, sumie style inks and water color techniques.
