These drawings came about due to a shortage of white paint in my town and the town next to me. First they said 2 weeks and in the end it was 7 weeks. I was ripping my hair out as if I was on fire. Luckily I found paint on my computer and that’s where these drawings came from. Using the same philosophy of painting over things it was mostly just scratching over and over the same thing until I felt like stopping. Really no plan. I do really like them and it also shows that I’m constantly changing. I know in art that’s a no no. Once you settled in a style just get comfortable and churn out. but I can’t repeat, it depresses me. I work in series and when it’s done I move on. It’s allot like death. They were all conceived from the same place, doing the same thing over and getting a different result. I thought they would be quite cool in a kids bedroom. Other than that it’s just playful art not to be taken too seriously, it will brighten up your day.
