ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I'd say that this is more abstract expressionism than cubism, but that's really for the critics to decide. Cubist masters like Picasso and Duchamp have always been a major influence on me, but this piece adds a little of my other favorite, Van Gogh. The tiger definitely has Picasso's eyes, but the brush strokes are definitely Van Gogh's. Only prints will be available as this piece was created digitally. This is #1 in a three part series and was inspired by the recent successes of the LSU athletic teams. Geaux Tigers!
