About The Artwork
Inspired by the fact that this activity actually seems to have a following of spectators on tv! To each his own. Also inspired by Hockney, who has made digital iPad drawing and prints a real thing, and by “Kinkin”, a Mexican painter who does groups of celebrities and politicians, each a wonderful caricature. In this piece I haven’t made portraits, but rather stereotypes. You might find a politician or two, sports figures, a priest, a woman with an pizza, and celebrities. And I did take the opportunity to include a self portrait. Hint: red T shirt near the center of the canvas.
