About The Artwork
In this series, I return to old masterpieces (mostly from the Renaissance to Neoclassicism) to influence characters or settings... modifying and moving them (through... digital photographic manipulation) and thus creating new possibilities in an untapped period. To that end, I also presented what I consider a "magical mystery" surrealist and mixed it with a small dose of modern pop art irreverence. This whole mixture of different periods of art and technology is intended to stimulate the observer to travel through his own visual memories (from historical arts) in search of originals, and then rework them in completely new ways.
