Fine art print 'oLa XXIV - Fusion I' Print

This work belongs to my oLa collection, an extensive collection of symbols/shapes that I designed after they have appeared in my dreams. Together they form a kind of unknown yet still familiar language, in which each symbol has a kind of open, endless quality, and each one can also be read as an individual story. Sub-series to which this work belongs: Fusion. The ‘Fusion’ series runs in parallel with my oLa collection, and was inspired by the cut-outs of Matisse, who is one of my favourite artists. As the title suggests, the ‘Fusion’ series is a colourful merging of different oLa shapes and my own photos. These result in colourful digital collages with a graphical touch, formed from three layers: the first two are cut-outs of my oLa shapes, and the third layer is made up of my own (processed) photos.
