About The Artwork

Hand drawn, then adjusted to vectors. A digital file is produced from which museum quality fine art prints can be made Love making iconic designs and art and animals are one of my favourite themes This is a vector image. Vectors produce beautiful clean sharp outlines and they can be scaled UP - or DOWN without loosing line quality or detail

Artist or illustrator that is the question.. ( im kidding ) i think im a bit of both i do work across a range on genrers, and thats probably a reflectionof my animation work, botanical, femme, landscape, abstracts etc .. and i like to add a touch of humour when i can. Animation influence again. an observation .. Illustrators tell stories, fine artists do to, but more likely its about the work itself, line, colour, texture etc, wrapped in a theme so to resolve the question, perhaps to avoid it, i call myself a creative, one who creates, more specifically, an image maker, i make images. Every day im involved with images, creating, sorting, categorising, looking, thinking about, enjoying. As for my work history .. I'll keep it brief i spent half my working life in the animation industry and the second half teaching animation film making at Uni retired now - do my own projects im a creator. illustrator / artist the visual world is my thing im always creating one thing or another Besides animation, i have some fine art background, through my years at Art College These days im producing hand made drawings on a digital tablet, and outputting a digital file from which prints can be made Style is minimalisitic. with a strong underlying abstract structure and dramatic compositions themes vary - people, landscape, animals, botanical, abstract etc and i like to add a touch of humour when appropriate im pretty much unknown, as an indie artist, so if you like what i do, get in now on the ground floor ( smile ) im an artist who would like to engage with my followers and people who like what i do. Its a bit lonely being an indie artist, but i also dont mind, im doing fine
