About The Artwork
This is another work based on an old photograph of my family. It seemed to be around 100 years old and had a lot of patina. It's faded colors gave it a spooky look and made it hard to determine. I used an old newspaper from an exhibition at c/o Berlin. It was well used and had a little rugged feeling to it to mirror the ruggedness of the old photograph. I used different materials laying around in my studio and made it a quick, messy work.
