This is a drawing of the fictional character 'Ben Linus' from the TV series 'Lost'. Lost is one of my favourite TV series of all time and Michael Emerson my favourite actor. This is a A4 graphite drawing on high quality watercolour paper (300 g/m). I used an 'F' grade pencil to draw the basic outline and a '6B' to add the details and shading. To keep the shading smooth I made use of a blending stump.

My name is Lauren and I have been passionate about the oceans and wildlife for as long as I can remember. I have recently completed my MSc in Conservation & Biodiversity at the University of Exeter's Centre for Ecology and Conservation (CEC). My undergraduate studies were also carried out at CEC, where I achieved my BSc (Hons) Zoology. During my time at CEC I participated in a host of voluntary and research projects, with a particular focus on marine vertebrate conservation and ecology. With this background, much of my artwork is of wildlife, though I do branch into portraiture on occasion.
