[DefaultValue(Null)] is a drawing I imagined during a depressive spell. As someone that has dealt with depression on and off for my entire life, I felt that it would be good to offer a connection to those who also go through these heavy and sometimes immobilizing emotions. I didn't think it would get much feedback, when I originally unveiled it, but the response I got was beautiful. I learned by me opening up about my trials depression, people around me that were not yet brave enough to open up and ask for help, felt like they were heard and validated. It warmed my heart and reaffirmed what I make art for. The title of this piece, if you are curious about why I spelled it the way I did, is a kind of callback response received in computing. I've already talked a lot about the meaning of this piece, which is not something I usually like to do, so I'll let your imagination do the rest of what this piece means, as well as the title.
